Russel Fox - Pastor
I am originally from Shawnee Kansas and have lived in NC since 1984. I graduated High school from Ledford Sr. High in Thomasville, NC in 1986. I graduated college from the College at Southeastern in Wake Forest with a double major in Pastoral Ministry and Christian Studies. I am currently pursuing an Advanced M-Div. degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. My wife Christy and I have been married 25 years this year. She is a nurse at Trinity Elms, which is a long term care facility in Clemons, NC. We have two boys, Joshua is 21 and a student at Campbell University and Ben is a student at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington.
I was called late in life to the ministry, I love God and in obedience, to my calling, I am serving CrossPoint for such a time as this. I believe Jesus' command in Matthew 22:37-39 to Love God and Love people is played out through the Great Commission, which is our mandate to reach and disciple the lost with the Gospel of Christ. I believe very much as a Christian that our faith is demonstrated by our obedience to Him. When we fail to spend time in His Word, in prayer and in living out our calling, we are displaying a lack of obedience and a lack of faith.
